I began working in financial services in 1982 for Midland Bank in Derby until 1990 when I set up my own business. Shortly after that, my two boys, Jamie and Robert, were born. Jamie now works alongside me to support our ever-increasing group of clients.
Although sometimes I don’t like to admit it, I am very proud to say that today I am securing mortgages for some of the grandchildren of my first clients!
The greatest compliment my clients can give is introducing me to their family and friends, which they do on a very regular basis.
When I’m not securing mortgages for people, I can often be found walking my Cockapoo, Cici, along the Cromford Canal or playing cricket for Belper Meadows Cricket Club where I have also served as Club Secretary. I am also a qualified football coach and referee, though I’m yet to receive my professional call up.
